BuyCarSafety.com ADVISR Report Provides Consumers with Critically Important Car Safety Information

ATLANTA, GA. April 8, 2015 -- Speedemissions, Inc. (OTCPK: SPMI, the “Company”), a leader in the vehicle emissions and safety inspections industry, is pleased to announce the availability of the Automotive Data Vehicle Information Safety Report (“ADVISR”), a simple solution for automobile owners to obtain Technical Service Bulletins and Automobile Recall Notices produced by other U.S and foreign automobile manufacturers.  The report is available for purchase by visiting the Company’s automobile safety web site,
BuyCarSafety.com

It just could save a life.

Technical Service Bulletins, or TSB’s, are how an automobile manufacturer communicates with its network of dealers when it comes to problems under the hood, in the passenger compartment or even the body of an automobile. TSB’s apply to any make, any model and any year.  The manufacturer advises the dealer’s service department that when a customer comes in for service, to check for that problem and then fix it.

However, here’s the disturbing part; neither dealers nor automobile manufacturer are required to notify the car owner of any TSB’s issued.  Also, as a matter of protocol, independent auto repair shops don’t receive TSB’s from the manufacturer either.

This means cars owners could be driving a car with more than just a rattle.

In a survey conducted with over 1,500 Speedemissions customers, the Company learned that nearly two-thirds of car owners did not know what a Technical Service Bulletin was or what impact it had on their vehicle. This information, coupled with the record number of automobile safety recalls (nearly 64 million) in 2014, along with the estimated 35 million safety recalls that have not been repaired, prompted Speedemissions to take a proactive approach in creating an easily accessible product to improve the transparency between the automobile manufacturers and the dealers.

It is estimated that over 10,000 TSB’s are issued yearly in the U.S.  Much like safety recall notices, TSB’s identify problems with automobile components such as anti-lock brakes, automatic transmission, cooling system, cruise control,  fuel system and much more, all of which could possibly mean the difference between a safe or unsafe vehicle.

“Our
Automotive Data Vehicle Information Safety Report, or ADVISR, includes automobile makes and models from 1990 through 2015.  The report, which comes in PDF format, highlights a vehicle’s complete Technical Service Bulletin listing in chronological order, the specific part affected, and a summary along with its Vehicle Safety Recall history.  The ADVISR is an easy-to-read document that provides you with a list of all of your car’s mechanical issues, many of which you probably would never had known about,” stated Rich Parlontieri, CEO of Speedemissions.

As part of its commitment to help educate car owners, Speedemissions will be giving every customer who visits their stores a BuyCarSafety ADVISR report overview.  The report contains key information about TSB’s and asks you if you know the answers to the following questions,

“How many TSB’s does my car have?

How vital to my safety are they?

Has my vehicle ever been recalled?

What dangers could I be facing
?”

When purchasing the ADVISR, the answers are found in a matter of minutes.  The customer will get essentially everything they need to know about the mechanical status of their car.  The ADVISR provides not only the benefit of giving consumers information about the TSB's issued on that make and model, but has the added feature of giving consumers the safety recall status of their vehicle.

And possibly, a greater peace of mind.
